That was a great E3 wrap up. I'm with you guys on Nintendo - I'm disappointed nothing shocking came out of the conference but in terms of what I'm interested in playing they are definitely at the top. I'm glad at least one company is going after family and kids even if most of that market has probably moved on to iOS and F2P PC games at this point
I miss it like crazy. Veep is a pale imitation.

Yay Animal Crossing talk. I hope I get mine soon. I pre-ordered it online and Canada Post sent it in the opposite direction all the way to Halifax. Last tracking update, it was coming back across the country and was in Montreal.
Fun Last of Us talk too. I guess I'm really slow but I never even noticed the narrative inconsistency with guns. I suck at games and had to turn it to easy when I died 200 times from

one of the Clicker sneaking sections that also had Runners. I could get by the Clickers by moving slowly but could not deal with the combination of not being seen and not being heard. On normal if a Clicker grabs you, you just die. On Easy, it gives you a prompt to shiv them in the face.
Great podcast so far. Worthy of the NeoGAF #4 spot.

It's amazing what playing games at your own pace, and being able to speak your mind without fear of reprisal does to the tone of a show. (Not a dig at GB necessarily)

It doesn't have much of an effect - if I buy digitally I still won't have to swap discs. That was the feature I liked the best. Difference now is I won't be able to get those digital copies off a disc from brick & mortar stores that have sales or clearances on disc games I'm only sorta interested in. Those'll have to run off disc. The only store selling digital copies will be Microsoft and we're beholden to whatever prices they wanna charge and not have sales. It's not a terrible hardship but like I said previously the policies they were gonna put in place didn't really impact me at all to begin with.

The contrast between this podcast and every other weekly one was so, so stark. Written comedy, informed analysis, consistent banter, and actual direction were all so fantastic.
That said, I would listen to a show that's just Mike doing bits and Chris, Phil, and Greg reacting fake-fatuously, so what do I know?
