Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to present the SPOTG Awards, in which we will have the honour of voting for the publisher that has done the most to destroy our beloved industry.
Broken games (technically or design-wise), mismanagement of mythical IPs, microtransactions, GAAS, wokism, price increases, fake physical versions, the need to create an account to play, abusive DRMs, etc.
The triple A industry has disappointed us for years with delays, cancellations and broken promises. Studios that used to be a safe bet for day-one purchases are now a gamble (which often ends badly). This is also the generation in which big companies are carrying out the worst possible practices, where the passion that many studios and developers put into their games is tainted by the greed of CEOs and investors who care only about the economic benefit, not video games themselves.
Therefore, I invite you to vote and point out this dishonourable title to the rest of the generation. I also invite you to reflect on why you chose this publisher. Let's play!
