No haters, dammit!

I know, they aren't as good as they used to be. Save it. We've heard it. Besides, usually one of the three halloween segments are funny as hell.

Enjoy, jaded people of GA. ENJOY!

I might watch. I haven't seen any new episodes in at least a season and a half. Not that I'm particularly interested, but I really don't want to think about all the work I have.

This episode sucked like all the newer eps do.

Fucking Global delayed the Simpsons, probably cuz of a football game or something.... was CFL on tonight?

The late NFL game prolly went late....

It's almost as if the creative team watched every Treehouse of Horror and a few eps of Perfect Strangers.

Then did a lot of cocaine.

....Sounds like I shouldn't bother watching it.

It just started here. And W T F....

Simpsons writer 1: "So guys, any ideas on how we could possibly make this show any shittier?"

Simpsons writer 2: "........add a laughtrack?"

Simpsons writers: "BRILLIANT!"

I feel sorry for the voice actors who were there during the glory years, they have to suffer through reading this garbage.

Like, all of them? I'm pretty sure the entire main cast is still there.

The episode sucked, but I did like hearing the Perfect Strangers theme song.

Yeah... I agree. The intro had the funniest bit of the night when Bart realized he was all alone and was adoped by the alien overlords with the perfect strangers theme playing. The rest was really quite horrible. I am not sure why each story had to end with a stupid little "aside" that negated any funny that had just built up by the stories natural end.

Examples: Burns/homer dance scene, heaven, Ralphie "waking up". It was like a bad (oxymoron) SNL skit that didn't know when to end.

That episode sucked to a degreee that I haven't seen a Simpson's episode suck in a few years.

The Simpsons has become a turd circling the drain for a long time but just won't flush.

The toilet started to overflow with this episode, and the viewers were left wading knee deep in shitty water.

My, that episode really deserves the tagline the Simpsons invented. You know the one.

Worst...Episode...Evar :D

Seriously...the Perfect Strangers theme was the best thing...which was sure to fly over the head of lots of younger viewers..leaving them with an episode with zero funny.

They could have at least had 1890's London Cookie Kwan yell "STAY OFF THE WEST SIDE!" at one of the other prostitiutes.

I dare any of the "Nu-Simpsons isn't that bad" defenders to defend this.

That was a pretty corny episode and normally I love what all the rest bitch about. Still had some hilarious classic moments though and I've yet to see an unfunny sign joke in The Simpson's no matter how awful the show is.

Hm, I didnt see the episode today but just wondering, if the series started last season with those episodes and no expectations to meet, would you guys like it? I think if people could like Drawn Together, a small crowd on GA from what i've seen, then the Simpsons could have been pretty well liked. I'm not going to defend the show because I don't think the show is good and at many times it's just plain shit, especially compared to what it was. But I may still have watched full episodes and laughed a little bit. If it wasnt trampling everything legendary about the show I wouldnt be in a rush to dump the series. But with that said, dump the fucking show.

For the past few years The Simpsons has been one of the worst shows I have seen on tv. I cant watch it for more than 30 seconds without cringing.

fuck no. boring ass recaps of all the football games i already watched all day isn't worth watching, especially the garbage time second half hour when they've gotten through all the good highlights.

Drawn Together at least has some comedy to be mined. There was nothing at all I found funny in the Simpson's episode last night. It felt like when you are at a family reunion, and you are listening to one of your uncles tell a joke that you've heard a million times already, so you smile just to be polite but inside you are screaming GET TO THE DAMN PUNCHLINE SO I DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN ANYMORE.

I did like the part where Ned is trying to call Homer over the intercom

Ned: Dont do it! You'll kill everyone!

Homer: *hearing over speakers* Do it! Kill everyone! Do it!

:lol

eh.. it had some funny parts.. overall I enjoyed The Ned Zone.. I mean it was easily as good as some of the lesser skits from years past.. the jack the ripper skit was just pretty bad. the Fantastic Voyage was truly meh. not good or bad, though the one line caused me to spit soda..

"Never piss off a man who can kick you in the crotch from the inside."

overall 6/10

Hang out with Steve.
"The Ned Zone" was the better of the segments, but still it was very weak overall. Kang & Kodos were way overdone.

On an unrelated (well, not really) subject, last night's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was one of the best episodes yet. Man, that's such a great show. ABC is really on fire now.

Agreed.

Hey Belgurdo, how about some actually reasons why you beg to differ?

If this episode took part in a dick sucking competition, it would lose for it is intangible and unable to suck tangible dick. It'd probably lose to a whore. But if it took place in a metaphorical dick sucking competition, it would win! Cause it sucked dick!

Anyway, it actually was funny in certain parts, I liked the old timey UFO and the Ned Zone was pretty good. However, it was dim in comparison to the Arrested Development, which blew all standards as if it were in some kind of blowing competition. And in this competition only standards could be blown....yeah.

:)

I hate to say this, but I've seen King of the Hill episodes that were more funny than this episode of the Simpsons.
