The Real Abed

Goddamn. If there was ever a time I wish I had a disposable income it's right now at this very moment. So many I'd love to frame and put on my wall.

I've used several ones..
bet you could find this one with better quality:
All good'uns! Cheers guys.I use this one on twitter
I love that episode. Everything with the Tomacco is an absolute classic.I'm not sure what the opinion here on E-I-E-I-D'oh but after watching it again, I am enjoying it.
Maybe because the references are squeezed in hilariously. I love this
"Bart, go get Lassie!"
"Lassie?"
"I mean Lisa."
Isn't it bothersome that the old farm is no longer burnt down?I love that episode. Everything with the Tomacco is an absolute classic.
I thought the tomacco episode was pretty terrible when it first aired when I was a college freshman. But part of that might have been due to its proximity to Saddlesore Galactica.
I still don't see how Saddlesore is seen as a bad episode. The episode is pure laughs from start to finish.
You mean the episode where the big twist is a colony of Jockey Elves? It has good jokes, but its a classic Jerkass-Homer showcase with a lazy plotwist that leaves a sour taste in your mouth. It's one of those episodes that really ramped into the mean, cynical era of the Simpsons, probably the lowest point for me in the series until about 5 to 6 seasons ago.

If Principal and the Pauper was a jump the shark moment, Saddlesore was the steep decline on the other side. I just remember watching it new and realizing that it was very few laughs, and a ton of cringes. I definitely said "Wtf is this?" to my roommate more than once during the airing. It just didn't fit the feeling or quality of any of the seasons that had come before.

Pauper was a hilarious episode though. Yeah the Tamzarian thing was dumb, but so what?

This I agree with you on. The Tamzarian thing is way overblown, I never really understood the great offense it had. The episode as a whole felt good and had great character moments with sides of Skinner we'd never seen. I liked that it touched on a more dramatic side of the Simpsons you don't often get. I'm not quite sure what backstory it's betraying either. Skinner has always had flashbacks to the war. Is there a flashback with him as a kid with Agnes that I'm not remembering?
Even if there was, nothing, and I mean nothing will ever be as egregious as That 90's Show. Little to zero redeeming aspects while trampling on the history of the characters.

At least we got "dealies" out of it.You mean the episode where the big twist is a colony of Jockey Elves? Uhhh, yeah, the episode has the family going to it, and it's just a piece of crap instead of a burning piece of crap like it was in the first episode it appeared.they visited it again?

easily one of the best animated episodes, holy shit
If you never have, definitely listen to the commentary for that episode.
I remember laughing so hard when I first saw this:
A new 60 Second Simpsons installment went up over the weekend... this one focusing on the classic era, Rear Window-homage... Bart of Darkness.
A more in-depth deep dive into this episode can be found here.
I never noticed Milpool until now
