Yeah, no thanks... :lol

I already stopped after 11 and S13 is exactly where it goes off the cliff. Might pick it up one day though, just for completions sake.

Is this when the series starts getting good? I've watched a lot of the seasons up to about 11 so far and they're pretty meh (though they start improving toward the last few).

The show only gets better as it goes on, that's the general consensus

Yes, from season 10 and on you see the show getting progressively better, and by season 13 you're in for absolute classic television. I fall asleep every night with episodes from season 12 to 20.

Looking at disc 1 of the season 20 blu-ray, upscaled SD shows was not worth it... so getting blu-ray vs dvd is not much benefit honestly.

Pretty much apart from having standardized packaging.
Blu-Ray is only vital for the Simpsons Movie & Seasons 20 and onwards.

Favorite episodes from this season include "I Am Furious Yellow", "Little Girl in the Big Ten" and ummm.... ummm... that may be it. Yikes!

I Am Furious Yellow almost makes up for the rest of the drek in the season. It's one of my favorite eps.

:lol ok. Was starting to wonder where all the hype/avatars were from. Those old seasons are almost nothing like the movie, which I really loved and which was why I decided to check out the series in the first place.

Virtually all of Season 11 is classic. There are a few really good episodes in 12. I recognize very few episodes from 13-18 or so. It's amazing how sudden the drop off was, too.

I'll buy it because I've bought everything else so far(including that god awfull 20th season with ZERO extras).

I kind of wish they would release the seasons on one bluray disk. I'm sure 50gb is enough space.

50 gb wouldn't be enough space for 20 seasons of the simpsons at 175 meg sd xvid rips, let alone hd. there's, what, 350 episodes? that's 65 gigabytes at pirate sd shit quality with stereo sound.

I meant one disk per season instead of 4.

I have complete(up to this point) collections of:

Married... With Children
Futurama
Family Guy
American Dad
The Simpsons
Dinosaurs
My Name is Earl
The Critic
Duckman

Oh my God its a crap load of disks and its one of the reasons I am hesitant to expand into other series I like(d).
