The Sonic game that was never localized




Never heard about this one. SegaSonic reminds me a bit of Sonic Heroes but for arcades. It wasn't included in the Sonic Gems Collection due to its unique control scheme (using a trackball for movement).

Yeah, a employee (I think it was Naka) said the couldn't get the trackball control working on a game console with analog control.
 
It's not that obscure, since it was emulated in Modeler like 15 years ago. And I don't remember it was that difficult to play using the keyboard / gamepad.

The Sonic shmup (Cosmo Fighters) is way more obscure.

That was also another Sonic game that featured voice acting before Sonic Adventure. I find it kind of interesting they waited until the Dreamcast to do this on a console.

So many obscure Sonic games. Sonic Popcorn Machine, Waku Waku Patrol Car etc.
