There's no need for it, just unload it into the loading area where it's automatically loaded onto the train when it departs. If you intend to travel back just carry it on you.
Yeah the town I was in today it wasn't loading, manual loading it was.

My roundup of how things went down for me.
Played the whole session, didn't experience any connection issues and I did back out of the game a few times trying to get Spotify to work (it didn't want to) but had no problems reconnecting.
Started in a relatively busy town. Having been told to go to the ministry of work immediately I started looking for it, and looking for it...and looking for it. Thought I was going crazy, I assumed you had to do it as some sort of initiation but it wasn't there. The town didn't have one (presumably destroyed). So i built one, puzzle had me puzzled for a good while.
Went to ministry of work, found it to be pointless as I had done very little work so I went out mining.
Chose a mining spot, started chipping away. Was assaulted by a bee, killed it evenly with my pickaxe, then another came along. Pickaxe broke and I was killed.
Went back to the town to find out how I get a new one, no clues as to how I actually do this. Finally work out I need a union shop but can't build one because of lack of wood. Bumble about for a while waiting for the wood store to build, it keeps getting depleted plus I can't hog the workbench.
Still can't build my house either even though the resident count had gone up by 8, I had been trying intermittently with no luck.
Finally decide to visit another town, so I visit one where a friend is. Buy a pickaxe, get the black market catalogue and try to go back to my original town. I can't. Couldnt see any options for it.
So I choose a new town to make my home, one with relatively low resident count. Apon entering I try to build my house but the resident number was full, make the town hall bigger. No town hall in sight...
So I give up with that and go mining/farming. The current island available has an abundance of trees and food. I get a chainsaw and start chopping for what seems like forever. Gather a shit load, go back to the town with 10 mins left of the session. Still can't build a home and can't build a town hall because the town needed 10 residents. Session ended with me confused and still a nomad. Enjoyed it though
lol, slowly but surely order forms from the chaos.
Question for you, how might one go about increasing inventory size? I can see that I have four locked slots but increasing strength doesn't seem to unlock them.
If they are using a jetpack or the hovercars they are always visible. However we might allow you to track them conveniently in the future. (not permanently visible but more visible than they are now, we'll have a think about this after we launch)
There is a forged permit in the license section of the black market.
The game is definitely beautiful and cool aesthetically. But these screens really highlight how much of the game is hidden because of the DOF and vignette effect. Objects that aren't even 5 meters away from the character are completely blurred out. It seems like only what's in the middle of all images is in focus, even the bottom of your own character is hidden in the blur! I know I'm probably tiring posters and the good people at Q-Games about this subject already, but it's mindbogglingly unnecessary, a game like this shouldn't cause eye strain.
I don't mind the vignette effect (though I could do w/o the small black bars even though they are not noticeable during gameplay), it's barely there depending on the time of the day etc:
I wonder if the blur of the top&bottom of the screen is actually necessary to pull of these awesome aesthetics? The tilt-shit camera effect is essentially the same thing.
Maybe there can be a civil union system where you purchase a marriage license from one of the shops and bind yourself to a friend. This way you can always see each other and have a shared inventory and shared everything. When your civil partner starts mining rocks and you are just standing around you can pop into other people's worlds alongside them. And there can be weddings! If they are using a jetpack or the hovercars they are always visible. However we might allow you to track them conveniently in the future. Oh lol. I didn't think of that.Haha, a civil union between two young girls... not sure where that's leading!
We have quite a few ideas for communication between players that you'll hear more about as we release the game.

Maybe we can come up with some sort of sufficiently sci-fi "cohesion matrix stabilization binding" or something lol

Wait, so the West is intentionally leaving Freeman Dollars around town to consume and break down the communist ideology, morale and the people from the inside?
Deepest lore
That could be true...
It might not be...

I don't mind people sawing the trees outside of town. It seems that the map frequently changes enough that you will always find yoursel in a new island with trees. You just have to harvest the fruits first before cutting them.
Someone planted a sapling inside my town for food purposes (I assume). I'd be pissed off if someone cut that.
I don't know about text chat either. I thought the appeal of the game was working with a community with very limited ways of communicating. It made gathering resources in the game a bit more dynamic since you constantly had to switch tasks according to what you think the town needs. Having someone blast out instructions might streamline things too much, I believe.
Oh now I see it! Ugh I thought I stumbled upon an easter egg >.<A footprint.
I love the title screen & the music. I made a video of it in case anyone else just wants to enjoy the music of the game.
