awesome. and you can tell nobody is apathetic about the election this year, either. so this places the blame entirely on their shitty line up.
 
The lineup is a bunch of people you've never heard of, and this was (according to their tour schedule) in Kent, Ohio. Low-turnout shouldn't be any kind of surprise.

I'm a little confused as to why they scheduled 5 dates in Texas, when that state really isn't going to matter...
 
There were also others: like Alanis Morissette, Maroon 5, et al...but they cleared them from the list of artists appearing.
 
Yeah, Ben Jalen was just finishing up his set. There were probably 20 people there, most trying to get a free shirt. Later on in the day, I guess it wasn't much better: when asked about how it was around 3 (it ran 12-5)...

And this is for a place that probably had at least 5,000 students still on campus (7,000 residents registered, 20,000 commuters)...in a place that's just a small drive away from Akron or a half hour from Cleveland.

Honestly... politics and MTV do not mix. It's like telling a 15 year old girl to sit down and talk to her about the president. She won't give a crap.
