Wow, this is really pretty big news. I'm pretty disappointed since I think Darabont's episode was far and away the best of the first season. Hopefully the show will get lucky and will hire someone really talented to replace him (
Whedon
).

Whoa something major must have happened. And I mean really major.

Not good news to go into season 2 with especially with some of the bad writing in season 1.

Hopefully not.

Hopefully not.

Darabont did extensive rewrites of every S1 script. I can't imagine he will be missed by any fans of quality television.

Whedon wouldn't even remotely work for TWD

Pretty good trailer, the car scene looks intense and it appears the little girl is gonna get herself killed, that should be hard to watch :(

Now if only they could cull the rest of the cast and start again with new characters that dont suck.

Trailer didn't do much for me tbh. It also looks nothing like the comics anymore and I don't like that. :(

Darabont leaving the show doesn't help me keeping my hope up.

They need to have some actual action this time.

Finale had MAYBE 3 zombie kills in it or something.

That's pretty disastrous for a ZOMBIE show, especially it's first season, which is supposed to be tits out.

It's not really supposed to be an all out action zombie show. If it stays semi close to the comic, down the road there will be stretches of episodes without even seeing a zombie.

They probably shove a zombie in anyway, just to get that crowd satisfied.

Read the comics.

So far I'm enjoying the comics but I'm not too happy with how they are handling the tv series, especially the plot changes like keeping Shane around.

I'll definetely watch but I'm not as hyped as I was before Season 1.

tons of Daleface in this trailer too

Daleface is the soul of any zombie apocalypse. I hope when the zombie apocalypse comes we have a member with his own Daleface - would be sorely disappointed if not

I feel I have a special kinship to Daleface as his character and I share the same last name. Maybe one day, if I try hard enough, I can be as righteous and kick-ass as Daleface. Maybe one day, people will dub it, Daveface....
