I get where people are coming from when they hate on Nintendo. It's not so much betrayed, it's just that a lot of people (espcially those hardcore ones on neogaf) really LOVE Nintendo games, no doubt in my mind about that. But they very much dislike what the Wii was and therefore didn't get it, so it angered people because they didn't get to play the games they love because of it. I dislike the Wii plenty but I never resorted to hating, but everyone is different. I think it's more frustration rather than hate. Though I'm sure there's the bandwagon of people who use the opportunity to express some weird deep down fanboy hate.
Not saying it's right, or fair, or normal. Just saying I get it.
