Cards were cringe af. Even my horny teenage ass thought so in 2007. I hope that they will remove them in the remake, or replace them with something more tasteful.

I have no doubts they will remove cards. Even back at times when they released Witcher 2 they were saying these cards were a stupid idea and they wanted to move on from them. If I remember correctly, even that cancelled remake / port of TW1 to PS3 and X360 was supposed to remove them

So we are looking at 2029, seems like, maybe later. I do wonder if they have anything in the works releasing in the next 2 years?

They are working on Orion concurrently with W4 right now. They have around 60 people working on pre-production in their new studio in Boston.
It might be concurrent, but the bulk of the companies resources are on W4, and once that's done hundreds of people will be reassigned to help complete Orion.

Some people will probably be transferred, but not that many. W4 is worked on in their main studio in Warsaw and Orion is being worked on in Boston. They specifically opened new studio in USA to tap into local talent.
