Thankfully the Nubiles-Porn sites all work fine for me. Just make sure you click the Gear and change to 1080p before downloading. (HTML5, just right-click) Also you only get 50 "previews" for each site. But it's plenty for the limited selection of 20 or so videos each site has. Also, these sites have limits to how many videos a single IP can download at once so if you try to do more than like 5 at once it'll leave the rest at "waiting".
That literally does not work with a single VOD site.

VOD sites got wise to that a while ago. Most of them either use Silverlight or the file loads in a bunch of pieces making ripping the video a huge pain in the ass.

I bet DownloadHelper on Firefox works. You have to start the video first for these downloaders to "see" the video as a valid source. Make sure to choose the quality. All sites seem to work differently.

You can download from some (probably against TOS...?) anyway. In chrome, right-click and "Inspect". Use the tool that lets you select an element, then click the video. In the HTML window, it'll highlight an element with an mp4 url, copy that link and paste it into your address bar.

Technically your computer is already downloading the video in order to watch it.
Secondly, you can download them to disk with browser add-ons or the built-in download option for HTML5 based players.
Third, all these sites have limiters built-in to make sure one person isn't downloading more than a few videos at once anyway.

First, most people don't stream more than one video at a time.
Second, they don't expect most people to do that. If you offer the option to download, you'd expect that more people are going to take you up on the offer.
Third, some do and some don't. But more importantly, worst case scenario is still that they expect a few thousand more users today because of this. But if it blows up, you're talking about tens to hundreds of thousands more people trying to access the servers, and having each of them attempting to download multiple GB files is probably more than most of them want to deal with, even for one day.

So, I'm appreciative of Free Porn Day. I truly am. But I think what this taught me is that, man, I'm good with relatively low-res streaming porn.
