My point is mostly it's insane how he ever got there, it makes me feel like I'm crazy. Maybe that's not how you are, so this isn't addressed to you, but there are a lot of people acting like this story is what is their "red line" when it's insane anyone ever accepted Trump as anyone that shouldn't be ostracized.

But, any many places in the world the age of consent is lower than 18 ( not a good thing). I'm in no way shape or form encouraging sex with younger women; it disgusts me. It would be crazy if Trump manages to spin this into a W. A lot of people act like this is just a Trump or partisan issue, when we all know this kind of stuff is relatively common in those spheres. Even Stephen Hawking was in those "files". So not just for Trump's sake, but likely for the sake of people even more powerful than him (not public figures), the strings will be pulled to lessen the damage. So, the only things we have are the PR and content.

A little background: At the behest of my own doctor, I was 'high risk' during V-time, got the shot, then got the V. Had Long V for two years, lost everything. Retired. Do I hold Trump responsible for warping speeding my life and career into the shitter? Well, I'm not exactly singing praises to the man or his policies, but I do think something beyond the big narrative is happening right now that deserves further observation. The fault is my own on that decision. I let fear control my life and i came so close to death on multiple occasions it's a goddamn miracle I'm even here to type this. The lesson I learned is this: there is no safe haven from fear, no careful guidance. Fear itself is insidious and addictive and can be abused to a startling degree. Take the narrative and break it down from all angles, don't subscribe, dissect who benefits from the fear they are feeding you?

Because the Epstein list and his cover up of it is a massive story and his direct involvement with Epstein is a critical point in the whole affair?

There's nothing surprising or suspicious about the timing. It's a hot story and the focus is on Trump because he's the one trying to cover it up while also being the person with the most well known and well documented connection to Epstein. That connection in turn casts a hell of a big shadow on his motivations for trying to bury the list and attacking even his own support base for asking about it.

I used to admire USA when I was young, I mean it was something else in the 80's and 90's. It felt like a country grounded in science, everything cool in tech came from there, space, astronomy, military, computers, freaking internet, etc. The movies the music. It had huge influence on my life.

I guess there were plenty of village idiots but they didn't get a microphone to spread their stupid shit all over like social medias allow today. Social medias were a mistake.

Any left wing TV channel, newspaper or media whoever keep trying to dump him down. They've tried "almost" everything but he still clearly won the election and people support him.

They also hate him because he always makes fun of the media.

He's a bigot, he hates women, bad tariffs, prices will zoom up, unemployment will zoom up, stock market will tank etc.... you name it. People just focus on what they think will help them. The majority of people dont care about Trump's personal life or if he makes women jokes in the past or occasionally swears in his big rallies. That's his personality and people are fine with it. Heck, the guy used to do David Letterman talk shows back in the day promoting his skyscrapers and casinos and he did The Apprentice reality show firing people. If everyone hated it he wouldnt be president or even qualify to be nominated. Oh ya, he also used to do pervy USA pageants too.

Getting back to "almost", there's one major thing any left leaning person/organization hasnt tried yet to defeat him..... just promote good policies to the public which are better than Trump's. If all of Trump's laws he pushes are so shitty, then it should be a total cakewalk to create new or promote current policies which are much better which everyone prefers over Trump's.

But they cant figure out anything good, so they just focus on Trump bashing. They've painted themselves into a corner because if they try to promote some moderate plans, wacky liberal voters will hate them as traitors because they'd see that as being more like Trump. So that's why all the left leaning content and commentators have to stick to being hard left and just go with it.

The more Trump pushes traditional boring stuff like low taxes, get more domestic jobs, get crime down etc.... (these are the types of boring topics politicians in every country probably talk about for 100 years), Trump corners the market on those popular topics, so it leaves no big topics left for liberals to convince the masses they are better.

100% this. Oh there were definitely village idiots back then. Every neighborhood had them and everyone knew who they were. Their platform was limited to either talking over the fence or they might get a letter to the editor published in the local paper, if they were lucky.

Now every single one of them have multiple social media soapboxes from which they can yell, and they can do so (largely) anonymously. Social media has absolutely undercut the social fabric and AI will probably make the trend even worse.
