I had no idea this was even in production. I guess they're wanting to keep the hype down after the disappointing original. Doesn't look that hot, but I'm hoping this one actually turns out to be fun.

I dunno. I don't think it looks that great in comparison, to say, Rome: Total War. I expected better visuals.

I thought the 1st one was decent enough. Sure it had it's problems, but they were bearable.

By the way, this game has been in production pretty much since the 1st one was complete.

Lionhead are really working hard on trying to make this as great as possible on all aspects. I've met with Molyneux himself(about 6 months ago) and he was really excited about this game, though he said he expected it to be ready around mid to late 05. He was also eager to get Fable on PC which has now finally been announced for release, plus with a few nice additions.

I very much doubt that you will see an Xbox release on this game, there are no teams working on it anyway, all their resource is speant on making this rather than wasting time on a console version that will be obsolete by the time the PC game is released anyway. Maybe on Xenon...though there will definately be control and interface issues.

I'd like to see a NDS version. Would work out quite well with the stylus for drawing gestures and what not.

I just got Black & White in a random box one day ... poped it in, not knowing what to expect and was blown away --- a game that rewarded me based on my own defenition of productivity.

They really do have great artists. The wolf and the lion look amazing, the gorilla looks incredible.

The first shot looks like Jade Empire, just replace the gorilla with a big dragon.
