Hey, this Sunday, My crew is involved with From DC With Love, an EDM event @ Nation night club. I know that there are a few EDM fans here, and I know that there are a few people from the DC area here. Hopefully those two overlap. :)

Not included on this flier is the fact that we got Tech Itch as well.

We have a host of locals as well (including yours truly). As soon as that list has been made public, I will edit this post to include them.

Sunday, Sept. 18

From D.C. With Love is the biggest electronica lineup we've seen in some time, and that it's helping raise money for the Red Cross makes it that much more impressive. The star-studded list of DJs taking to the decks at Nation includes Buzz/Fever/Cubik founder and house music king Scott Henry; Philly drum 'n' bass legend Dieselboy (with MC Messinian); hard-house-and-funky-disco spinner Charles Feelgood; British breakbeat wizard Technical Itch, known for his dark, intense bangers; house music globetrotter Danny Howells; and electroclash trendsetter Tommie Sunshine. A host of local DJs completes the bill. Admission is $15 from 6 to 8 and $20 thereafter, with all proceeds going to the Red Cross. The music lasts until 2, and everyone 18 and over is welcome to attend.

Man, too bad I won't be able to make it... Danny Howells and Dieselboy are both really good, I've seen them both live in the past. A worthwile show to go to if you're in the area though.

If anyone is interested, Danny Howells's set will be recorded for AOL music and Tommy Sunshine's set will be recorded for XM Radio's The Beat. I'll post more info on that when it becomes available.
