I know that, but who cares?! I'm not using the majorly uncomfortable PS D-pad for anything. It increased the playability of Mario 64 DS when they did the same thing on 3DS.

Wait what? I understand this to an extent with FFVII (though the limit to 8 directions kills my interest), but the Vita actually has a really good D-Pad compared to their prior design.
