Three people have been attacked by a pro-Turkish government group in Belgian capital Brussels as they were on their way to vote in Turkey's constitutional referendum.
An elderly woman by the name of Sultan Ogras was injured after being stabbed in the throat by the attackers. Two other men were also wounded.
Ogras was taken to hospital but her condition is reported as stable, after initial fears that she was seriously wounded.
The attackers took refuge in the Turkish Consulate as tensions continue, Firat News Agency reported. The victims were taken to hospital.
Update: 21:10 (CET) – A second attack occurred against people protesting the first attack on the three ‘no' voters. A group calling themselves the ‘Ottoman Hearths', thought to be a pro-Erdogan group was reported as carrying out the attack. Police dispersed crowds as helicopters continue flying above the consulate.
