I have a particular fondness for them, being from south east asia and all.

I really like tigers and bears, but personally, I'd say it really hurts an animal's "best on earth" standing if there is a high probability of them murdering you if you attempted to pat 'em on the head or scratch their belly.

Tigers are my favourite animals. Absolutely stunning. White tigers look fucking badass as well.

I also remember reading an article ages ago about a tiger in captivity that got through to a lion pen nearby and killed the lion with a single strike to the throat, like Patrick Swayze in Roadhouse. The real king of the jungle accepts no pansy substitutes.
