The entire Mario Kart World OST of over 300 tunes is absolutely incredible for people who love Nintendo music and jazz/fusion. And the best part is that all of the songs have actual endings, and aren't just faded out loops. It's such an awesome soundtrack!

Beautiful. Princess schala is another one etched into my brain. This guy also does fantastic donkey kong country 1 and 2 covers. You should listen to them if you haven't yet.
And there's a youtuber named Lavos with a collection of chrono trigger synthwave mixes, of which I really like the red earth schala remix.

Right?? It's so good! You'd probably also really like The 8-Bit Big Band. Check out what they do in the same section of Bob-Omb, the syncopation is wild.


Also, I can't get over how the MKW composers wrote a full brass section Dolphin Shoals lick, which is also something 8BBB did.

And as a bonus, the solo in Toad Harbor has both the Dolphin Shoals lick and THE Lick. They went full jazz shitpost on this tune and I love it.
