Time Travelling with Tetsuya Mizuguchi, 1up.com feature

1UP: He's one of the first people I met in this industry, at E3 in Atlanta. I ran into him in the hallway, he was really nice.
:lol
I met him there at E3 '98, too! I had just got done playing the Silent Hill demo for the third time and decided to leave the exhibition area just before the end of the day and he was in the main hall...going to the Sega booth, I assume. My friend and I immediately recognized him and basically stepped into his path to shake hands with him and try and ask him if he was gonna do more games for Sega (especially on DC) other than the recent Enemy Zero release on the Saturn. He just smiled and laughed, slightly bowing and walking off...he seemed startled with how we just rushed him. lol

That is totally cool that Eno and Miziguchi are friends. Maybe we'll see Eno come back to console games next gen.

Wow, awesome idea. Great interview too.

I'm just curious... is Tetsuya camping out at the 1up offices while he's in the US or something? How many Tetsuya features has 1up had in the past couple weeks? :lol

EDIT: "YES! The game is OVER! The game is OVER!" :lol

Interesting interview - especially liked how they picked out Rock Is Sponge and Fear to talk about... love those songs :D

This guy's one of my favorite producers in gaming right about now...

Hey tetsuoxb, are you still doing that translation for the Mizuguchi interview with that Japanese magazine, Continue? I'm just curious, is all. :)

PS: If any 1UP staff read this thread you'll see a grand total of two people have problems watching these videos. It's not worth putting them online in downloadable form for two people, but it'd be totally sweet if it happened.

A lot of Mizuguchi interviews lately, which is cool cause this guy deserves recognition. Good stuff

And I can't view the videos as well.

Okay, I'll see about getting those video segments encoded into something y'all can download. And yeah, it was a sweet interview. I stood in the background watching it happen. And a tear rolled down my cheek.
