His point is that instead of making a whole thread about it, you could have just Googled and got the exact information you were looking for in the time it took you to write the thread title.
Isn’t this a forum to talk about things with other people

People in here acting like US is the only dangerous place in the world where a gun for personal defence can be useful...

Useful for gangs too.
It's just ironic that people in here love guns and even show what they bought in a dedicated topic but OP wants to take his personal defence weapon with him in another country and people are somehow not ok with that...

I’ll reply because I am unbiased.

if I wanted personal protection I would use pepper spray or that thing that gives electric shocks. If he wants to use a gun, his choice as long as it doesn’t trigger some bad decision or an accident.

Sorry i don't get the difference... Are guns illegals in other states? Sure if laws in a different place don't allow guns then sure, but i don't think that op is so stupid to bring a weapon in a state were gun ownership is illegal.

And there is nothing wrong in using those methods instead of a gun, but guns are legal and ultimately the decision must be made by OP.

P.s. i don't even own a gun nor i have strong feelings about them.

Tbh i never looked to much into gun regulation in italy, but yeah if you have a firearm license you can keep guns in your home,i had the father of one of my friends that was a gun nutjob, he had a dedicated room for all his rifles and guns, he even gifted me a big ass bullet that i still keep somewhere.

Ironically it is easier to explain a gun if you have a license than a knife, if police find a big knife in your car you can be in trouble.
