Titan computer chairs

Does anyone here have a Titan or an Omega chair? I am in the market for a new chair and These caught my eye, I know they are expensive but I spend a ton of time at my desk. Between work and online schooling I find its worth it to be comfortable.

If you want a comfortable chair and spend a lot of time at your desk DO NOT get a gaming chair. It's just a fad, nothing else. Get yourself something like a Steelcase or Herman Miller, you can find used for great prices around the same price as the gaming chairs and it will benefit you in the long run.

Thanks! I will have to check those out

I can personally vouch for the Serta Big & Tall Executive Chair if you can find one. After years of dealing with less than ideal chairs for me, this was perfect, and affordable. For the record, I am neither big nor tall.

Want to say I'd found mine for like $200 at Wal Mart.

Steer clear of gimmicky crap. Nobody I know who has purchased a "gamer" chair actually likes it. In fact, avoid anything marketed towards "gamers" in general. It's a sign of them having nothing else to market with.

People also really dig that IKEA chair which I always see mentioned in threads like these.

I've had all sorts of chairs, Serta, Off Brands, Tempurpedic. My current chair is the Secret Lab Omega in Royal Blue. By far the best chair i've ever had. I regularly take naps in it laying all the way back. It's quite solid as a rock and the material doesn't get that loose look like you see on DX or cheap chairs. My chair looks like new 2 years later. I love the locking at certain angles, helps to keep from having to balance the chair to lean back only so far.

If I had to find a complaint I would say it takes a while to break in. Your ass will hurt if you're in it for long periods of time. Mine has softened up and is way easier to be in all day.

I have some back issues, hip issues (Sciatic). This chair almost forces you to sit up straight and isn't really for slouching. I've had less low back pain and sciatic issues vs the softer less form fitting chairs. I gave my wife my $400 Tempurpedic chair and she hates it and is hurting all the time. She is about to order her own Omega now.

Yeah, I am a big guy 6'5 and well over 200lbs so I need a solid chair, which is why I started to look at the Titans.

Yeah I’m not that tall so I went with the regular Omega. The Titan looks pretty solid with a bit more padding on it too.

I would second that. If you want a quality chair, get it second hand, proper desk chair are build like tanks.
You want a chair that's still comfortable 10 years on.

If the US was a chair, this would probably be it.

I have one. I've had it now for almost 2 years. It is by far the most comfortable chair I've ever owned. My only complaint is that in the last few weeks the arm rest material has started to crack.

This post actually inspired me to file a warranty claim since I'm not over the 2 year mark yet. I'll let you know how their customer service is as well.

Have had one since November and love it. Have back issues and at work have an "orthopedic executive" chair and the few times I've had to go into the office my back hurts after. Also had a Herman Miller chair before that one in the office and as a 6'3 individual the lumbar support on that was too low and wouldn't adjust high enough.

Secretlabs chairs are the only "gaming chairs" I'd recommend as they are the only office style chairs I've sat in with good lumbar and back support. Even in comparison to orthopedic chairs for a taller person the titan is better for me. And of course I have the dark knight ver.

Edit: for reference I've been working from home and work 10 hour shifts sitting in it all day since November and have been lax in physical therapy lately and I honestly credit this chair with me not having fair ups in my back from all my back issues.

Update to my RMA request.

Customer service was quick and responsive. I sent them some pics of my issues and they are sending me out two new armrests. They will be here on Friday.

Off topic but related, I dropped a small fortune on a DXRacer a few years ago and it is by far the most uncomfortable and poorly built chair I've ever used. Most gaming chairs I've tried are similar. I have since sworn I'm going comfort over style from now on.

I have a titan. You are a more massive dude than I am (5'11, 160 lbs). but I have some room to spare in the chair too. It's comfy. I also got fabric rather than PU leather because Im on that chair for most of the time during the day and I always found the leather to break due to sweat after a few years. I'm not sure if it's worth the money, but I do know it's better than a 200€ office chair I once had.

Get yourself one of these.

Have had mine for over 15 years and it's amazingly comfy still, if a little squeaky.
Armpadding went to shit though. Rubbery top started cracking and the gel started leaking, so i scraped it all off and bought some cheap foam add ons for $15.

I’ve had the titan for about a month now. It’s awesome functionally but the seat cushion is kinda stiff. I haven’t used it that much yet but I’m hoping it breaks in eventually.

Most gaming chairs have side bolsters. How many lateral G's do you pull sitting in a chair? I

f you can answer that truthfully you have to realize that gaming chairs are 99% marketing and 1% ergonomics. Gamers have been getting played for over a decade now by marketing departments putting a "gaming" label on shoddy products.

i've got a secretlab titan, i work from home and sit on it all day

i like it substantially more than the Aeron i have at work. i had a pretty decent lazyboy office chair at my old place, but it was too soft. i like the firmness of the titan. lots of adjustability as well

i'm 6'2 210 for size reference. my co-worker also uses a titan at home and says pretty much the same
