If you want a comfortable chair and spend a lot of time at your desk DO NOT get a gaming chair. It's just a fad, nothing else. Get yourself something like a Steelcase or Herman Miller, you can find used for great prices around the same price as the gaming chairs and it will benefit you in the long run.
I've had all sorts of chairs, Serta, Off Brands, Tempurpedic. My current chair is the Secret Lab Omega in Royal Blue. By far the best chair i've ever had. I regularly take naps in it laying all the way back. It's quite solid as a rock and the material doesn't get that loose look like you see on DX or cheap chairs. My chair looks like new 2 years later. I love the locking at certain angles, helps to keep from having to balance the chair to lean back only so far.
If I had to find a complaint I would say it takes a while to break in. Your ass will hurt if you're in it for long periods of time. Mine has softened up and is way easier to be in all day.
I have some back issues, hip issues (Sciatic). This chair almost forces you to sit up straight and isn't really for slouching. I've had less low back pain and sciatic issues vs the softer less form fitting chairs. I gave my wife my $400 Tempurpedic chair and she hates it and is hurting all the time. She is about to order her own Omega now.
I can personally vouch for the Serta Big & Tall Executive Chair if you can find one. After years of dealing with less than ideal chairs for me, this was perfect, and affordable. For the record, I am neither big nor tall.
Want to say I'd found mine for like $200 at Wal Mart.
Steer clear of gimmicky crap. Nobody I know who has purchased a "gamer" chair actually likes it. In fact, avoid anything marketed towards "gamers" in general. It's a sign of them having nothing else to market with.
People also really dig that IKEA chair which I always see mentioned in threads like these.
Yeah, I am a big guy 6'5 and well over 200lbs so I need a solid chair, which is why I started to look at the Titans.

If the US was a chair, this would probably be it.I can personally vouch for the Serta Big & Tall Executive Chair if you can find one. After years of dealing with less than ideal chairs for me, this was perfect, and affordable. For the record, I am neither big nor tall.
I have one. I've had it now for almost 2 years. It is by far the most comfortable chair I've ever owned. My only complaint is that in the last few weeks the arm rest material has started to crack.Does anyone here have a Titan or an Omega chair? I am in the market for a new chair and These caught my eye, I know they are expensive but I spend a ton of time at my desk. Between work and online schooling I find its worth it to be comfortable.
Get a bed to match the chair, cowards.
