Titan Quest II will be at Future Games Show on Saturday, June 7

only played like 10 min before i had to run, but so far really impressed with it. Im a little confused on why its not a full price game? (I know its not done). Is it going to eventually be full price?

Of course 1.0 will cost more than the Early Access version.

In the worst case you got it for 20% cheaper now than at 1.0. Because EA costs 23,99 Euros and 1.0 will cost 29,99 Euros (if they not raise the price that is)
Titan Quest II has now stepped onto the mortal plane, available for PC in Early Access. The full 1.0 release is fated to arrive at $49.99 / €49.99. But those who embark early on this quest will pay only $29.99 / €29.99 - and for the first seven days a divine 20% discount will reduce the price even further to $23.99 / €23.99.

Found this on the steam page! I was concerned if it was just gonna be a smaller game at 29, but now for 50 i aint worried

Is this going to be full of shitty transmog microtransaction set pieces? Or can you find cool armor sets in game with out paying extra.

Ok, 24 bucks for a game that will cost 50 $ is not bad.

From the Dev's on the Steam forums. Its one of the reasons I'm interested in it.

Well just wrapped up everything in early access except for one side quest which appears cannot be finished as there aren't enough embers of night? Level 23, found a few pretty cool epics, clocked in at 14 hours by the looks. Loved it. Can't wait for more.

Will get a few more hours as I want to increase the enemy levels and redo some of the bosses trying for some better loot. Will try a caster build, went full warfare/rogue this time.

Because it's in early access and supposedly the content only last a few hours currently. Not totally sure on the hour count though.

I dunno what to say to you. First aRPG that I've played (even considering EA) where bow-bearing characters doesn't have any bow-related tree, class or active AoE bow abilities.

The game is very-very short, basic and full of childish mistakes in UI/UX department. It is also Generic Fantasy aRPG with some Greek columns and togas added very harshly in the late stage of development. For most of the time you fight with spiders, skeletons, murlocs (yeah, you heard that right), turtles and crabs. And yeah, locations in question are usually generic swamps, fields, rocks and other quixel megascans that were avaliable fast and cheap.

There are ton of other strange things like random action delays, traversal stutters and basic unfinished things like fugly quest markers and enemy AoE indicators, but I'm too lazy to write about them all.

Wait for a year or for a sale. Clearly it was released out of desperation because it is undercooked even by Early Acess standarts.

Honestly this was pretty terrible. I played the crap out of TQ and it's pretty clear the devs arne't anywhere near as good as the guys from Crate.

The first area is just.. bad.. the UI/UX is sooooo fucking bad.. I'm super disappointed.

It's really too bad Crate Entertainment had to go and make a dumb non-Grim-2 game before getting to Grim Dawn 2 lol

Grim Dawn remains my favorite of this style of game by far.

It's Early Access and all that but if this is the 1st area you come up with? WTF?

A bow mastery isn't in the game yet but you can spec into some bow buffs in the Warfare tree(barrage and rain of arrows). You can also buff your primary attacks to shoot more projectiles and penetrate more targets so there is some stuff for now. I haven't tried Rogue yet but I would think there is something on there as well.

Lukewarm on the early access but hopeful. Doesn't feel like Titan Quest.
Feels like TQ to me but it has been quite some time. Maybe a modern take on TQ but honestly it feels a lot better than D4 and PoE and they're saying all the right things so I'm going to let them cook.

I thought the combat in the first game was ASS. Is it much improved in this one?

Yes. I'm playing a Battlemage (melee and fire). It feels way better than the original Battlemage.
The original had too much passive bullshit IMO. Activating some buffs and bonking enemies in the head with mediocre skills and a shitty pet is not much fun. It was also restrictive and spartan, while now I'm always looking forward to new skill toys.

Anyway, it's Titan Quest, and it's 2. It looks, sounds and flows just right.

Been really enjoying this. Just respecced my whirlwind to a build that builds rage and does area effect fire damage with my primary attack, and then I dash which gives me like 80% extra damage for a second and hit an enemy with my overhead two handed strong attack for major damage. Feels really good.
