Titan Quest II will be at Future Games Show on Saturday, June 7

You have to make use of that dodge early on. Wolves pwned me.

Being able to play offline is a huge plus. Easy purchase boys. They deserve it.

Edit: Ok, Steam Deck only people, buy at own risk. The more I play the more I realize it's not optimized for it yet. Pretty much no matter what settings I use, it is 15-20 fps. It's tolerable for me on such a small screen so I am making do at work, but if it's your only way to play, you may want to think about it. Also, don't try FSR, it adds a lot of input lag.

Resuming my run now!

Okay so map progression was saved since I quit the game yesterday, but enemies have respawned and even hidden treasures etc.

Kinda makes me unsure why there's a button at the shrine to "reset all monsters"

Is good to the genre to have more competition. Now we have PoE1, PoE2, D4, D2R, LE, TI, TQ2....

Alright so just to be absolutely clear (this is insane), just outside of the boss room there's a shrine that I can activate over and over again to fight the boss (and gain its loot + exp)

Hard resistance cap (at least in the early access so far) is 60% (thanks to this insane passive, I could try it out)

I've read the game has 20 hours of playtime but it's completed in 4-5 hours rather. i wonder what is true.
Also very important, how is the loot? Do i get a good chunk of rare loot or even uniques (although uniques is a bit much of asking for)

So far no uniques, but "sets" (green) and epics (purple).

Loot itemization is fine! You're looking for the usual movement speed on boots, increases attack speed on gloves, resistances on rings etc.

Have the Dev's given an ETA or timeline to 1.0.?

Already have POE2 and Witchfire on the go in EA. If its a year or more out I think I'll wait a while.

Fextralife said they've got info directly from the devs that the 1.0 eta is late 2026, with major updates every quarter on the way.

Anyone tried the multiplayer? It says you can enable it via test branch on steam. Wondering how it works with progression states, exp and drop rates, etc.

That was fantastic!

I did everything imaginable, farmed all bosses multiple times on +5 difficulty and completed all quests (including the hidden side quests with no marker).

Took me around 11 hours.

If you guys got any questions let me know!

Wanna ask, how is the loot. Is there +1 to ability or rather just movement speed, attack speed, critical hit chance, etc.?

No +1 to ability in the game from what I know! Here's a taste of my gear that I've gotten by farming lvl 25 bosses over and over again:

I see, hmm too bad. Maybe they will implement better loot later down the road. I mean this is EA at it's earliest.

Aight so I just payed the shrine to scale all enemies to my level (25) and then added the +5 thingie so now bosses are lvl 30 and drop lvl 30 loot. They're insanely good items hahaha, same type of stats but just plenty of them

Ooooh, big find! Gambling gear gives you access to the item level of the world so if my world level is 29 and I gamble, I get ilvl 29 stuff

100k XP per hour farm by yours truly (can do anytime you want, no need to be high level)

Basically a level every 10 minutes

And just like that, I ruined the early access lol

Although the game sounds great, i will wait with purchasing an Early Access title. I'll rather play Grim Dawn again.

worth the money imo!

I LOVE Grim Dawn but somehow I've never played the original Titan Quest. Just picked it up this morning and I'm enjoying it so far. Anything I should know?

Love TQ back in the day, and I love GD as well, so I'm giving this one a try.

So far it feels pretty easy (went Warfare, dual-wielding, and using barrier when there's more than 3 or four enemies) but I've heard people are having trouble with the griffin. Speaking of which, other than the big bird it doesn't really feel like TQ at all due to the lack of classic Greek mythological creatures like the first game, but I guess that's still only the beginning. The rogue mastery looks like it'll have some nice synergies with Warrior if I want to make a physical melee powerhouse? Any tips for builds?

I like the og Titan Quest but one thing which bothers me is the self adjustable speed setting. It should be one speed if you know what i mean. its no biggie but annyoing.

welp guys, I reached max level

Not really. It's pretty straightforward and Grim Dawn is basically a mechanical copy. If you have an idea of the type of character you want to build, just take a look at the mastery combinations beforehand. Anything paired with Defense generally recommended to new players for the survivability perks.

Can't see early access anywhere on ps5.

If so I'll gladly double dip.

Not early access but it's definitely confirmed for both consoles, this was back in 2023. But I'm guessing it'll be a while longer .

Game makes me happy. All it needs is polish.

I hope this goes the $15-$20 expansions every year route.

Have they discussed their goals for end game or are they not going there?

Dev on FB said when 1.0 launches and that is planned for late '26.

Just finished. Took me 8 hours for finishing the content trying to find and do it all.

Fantastic! Going to try a hardcore SSF run for a rogue/fire build.

Game just needs improvements in performance IMO.

Only four masteries, and choice paralysis is already setting in... what would you pair with Storm for an ice shard build? Can spells even crit in this game?

^I haven't played the game yet, but from what I have read, warfare/storm is a decent combo.
Hmm... maybe for lightning/cold weapon damage, but I can't really see anything in Warfare that synergies well with ice shards.

I'll probably go with Earth; both it and Rogue have spell damage and critical chance, but Earth also gets some defensive passives.

In the end I went with Warfare as you suggested. I looked a bit more at the various modifiers, and there are are some great stuff there.
Passives like Marksmanship (projectile damage/speed) and Invoker of War (spell damage and crit chance) are obviously good, and you have also defensive passives for extra health and armour (Battle Hardened and Versatile Defense).
The Battlefield Awareness aura Yoshichan Yoshichan mentioned earlier has some great modifiers that will help any build... and gives me another way to spend my Active skill points.
