Was thinking exactly the same thing myself, Neil's twitter post just exudes confidence.
 
I said it before, but the movie theater live streams seem to be a perfect way to deliver some Megaton to the core audience, of course I hope and believe it'll be TLG, but it could be something else entirely.

Just imagine the reactions across North America when they show TLG on the silver screens, record that and you'll have a new PR win à la NoDRM. Damn my hype level was pretty much at sane levels before they came with that cinema stream...but now I just can't hold it back anymore, disappointment incoming ;(

That was simply a test of faith and a weak one too. We still stand tall, our heads held high, with hopes of seeing TLG while fools like IGN who try to disband our belief have had their credibility crumble.

Its coming. 2 days left.
 
Assuming the game has still been in development in some capacity all this time and despite it making the switch to PS4, how hard would it be for Sony to insert something about TLG into their conference at the last minute? Especially considering the blow up that IGN has caused.

Perhaps a trailer or reveal that may of been planned for TGS or another time will now be shifted into E3? Could it be done???

Or was E3 the plan all along?

TLG is probably my most awaited game of all time, both in hype levels and...well...actual time awaiting for it >. >

Btw, here is an illustration I painted recently. I wanted to paint a mysterious creature and by the end I noticed that subconsciously I took quite some inspiration from TLG for it, so I thought I would share it here

I dont think it will be a last minute thing.

The game was originally officially announced at E3 and its where all the buzz was generated.

E3 is the perfect stage to re-introducr it again. The development budget must be pretty huge now. Many eyes as possible need to see it as its not a mainstream title. Leave it til the end of the show too.

I would've agreed if all they did was deny it. But they didn't just deny it, they laughed at it... As if they're confident that anyone who spread this rumour will be utterly embarrassed once the game surprises everyone at E3.

I'm glad I was asleep for the whole IGN debacle. I need to reserve those kinds of powerful emotions for my time playing TLG.

Now that you say it...hmmm yes that makes sense!

I was hoping that Sony wouldn't say anything about the rumours just to obliterate them to small pieces come E3 with the surprise announcement, just like last year with the NoDRM win.

But yes they laughed at it, good catch ;)

Man I need this thread more than ever now :|

I have to say, team ico games mean a huge amount to me - ICO was the game I bought a ps2 for, before it was even released - so as much as the game never releasing would break my heart, I do really enjoy the mythic status it's obtained. There's really never been anything like it. Even DNF was kind of a different thing.
 
As I said before, regardless of what happens tomorrow, The Last Guardian will live with us forever.

I almost cry to be honest.
It's like telling me Santa Claus isn't real.

To me, Team ICO games are unique, a director's game.
They simply cannot replace with any other developers unlike modern more industrialise games.
The idea of no more Team ICO games just too devastating for me.

Even tho my soul is crushed and my lack of believe as failed me due to SE not showing FFXV at this years E3 *sorry M night I have failed you my lord, as a FFXV supporter I support my brothers of the TLG brotherhood you have my unconditional support believe for me cause I was once young and believed...now I'm bitter filled with regret and rage.

You have my sword even if we fight a lie I will stand with you guys.. In glory and defeat

100% a supporter. I need this group to keep me sane T__T Please add me to the list.

I played ICO and SotC the first weeks of their release on PS2, and I now own the PS3 compilation. They are fabulous games that defined the PS2 generation for me. It's really hard to believe that Team ICO was poised to become the next huge name in gaming but they have only floundered since the release of their critically acclaimed SotC :(

I think about TLG all the time. Until it's officially cancelled I will always keep a candle lit for its release. On PS4... please.
 
Well, I picked a hell of a weekend to be off the internet.

Still don't think we will see it this week but I do feel more hopeful about seeing something at TGS.
 
It's nice to see it's still live.

But if they are going to show it tomorrow, wouldn't it be better to directly announce it there?

Maybe he is denying this 'rumor' today because they aren't going to show it tomorrow?
