Hello, everyone. I've been pining for the return of Team ICO ever since the rumors after the release of Shadow of the Colossus. The Last Guardian was one of the reasons I bought a PS3 (the other being Demon's Souls). I just wanted everyone here to know that as we look forward to E3, I too share your struggle.

May Catbird have mercy on our souls.

Neogaf will certainly be down during E3. We don't need the inevitable tears from this thread causing the dam to burst even faster.

But this really sucks. I have to imagine it was another case of it needing to be rebooted and they finally had the balls to pull the plug. SCEJ seems to be attempting to get its shit toghter so maybe letting go of this will be for the best and they can put some of that talent into a epic RPG or something.


But I must say after the last few months Shuhei Yoshida is either doing what must be done by killing all these projects that would have turned out bad or the dude is wrecking shop and needs the boot. Will be interesting to see what comes out of SCE the next round of announcements because if they fart out some losers ofter all these cutbacks? Damn. Also I am already worried that Guerrilla games new IP or Sony Bend as a studio is next on the chopping block.

If they cancel TLG just to scrap the whole idea of little boy with a cat bird thing but team ICO and Ueda moving on to a new project on PS4, I'll accept that.
Please I really want new Team ICO game.

Team ICO is probably just as dead as TLG.
 
Boy.... Ya know. If I worked at Sony and I was planning to show this game this E3 I probably would have let that rumour sit for a day and not commented on it and then BAM! New trailer.

I am a asshole though but now after recent events I wonder if its more or less likely to show up.

I have been busy all day, so before grabbing some grub thought I would check my twitter feed and that's where I saw the IGN article....

My jaw dropped,

Holy crap it was such a ride reading the thread, my thoughts with the group and anyone affected, Trico be praised.

So The Last Guardian PS3 is dead (we all knew that from one former Evolution developer). I´m ok with this if we see The Last Monster or whatever on PS4.

I think there was a misunderstanding between the sources and the Russian web.

I'm back god damn it. I leave you guys for a short few hours and this storm takes hold. Neils smack talk gives me faith. Its like he knows something more than just Scott Rohdes comment. Strap yourself in this could be a bumpy but thrilling ride!
 
I have invested so (too) much time and effort into these games these past eight years. I don't game much nowadays but the thought of seeing again The Last Guardian gives me goosebumps.
