Still there. Just shutter adjusted for 60fps.
Do we have any examples of the improved blood and water yet? The class shattering and fire particles in that vid on the last page looked great but I'm more curious about the wet stuff.

Here is the comparison video on youtube (sorry don't know where else to post it). MAJOR SPOILERS DO NOT WATCH IF YOU HAVENT BEATEN THE LAST OF US. Early in the video there are several examples of cloth wrinkling and shadows present in the ps4 version.
YT isn't 60.Is the video really 60fps? I can't notice it
It's 30 because of Youtube.Is the video really 60fps? I can't notice it
YT isn't 60.
Only a couple people have been able to do it so far to demonstrate the feature is coming. It's still in testing, not live yet. Some videos are, Youtube has support for it already.

I posted it earlier in the thread but here it is. I uploaded the video to mega. You'll notice the difference instantly on this than YT.

The problem is that the wrinkles are now static. They don't shift with movement.

Am I allowed to look at this one? Spoilers in there?

Yes they do. You can see it 26 seconds in when the character stands up.
Naughty Dog is better than this. Why did they let this through? Is the increased sampling of bounced light that expensive?
Sigh.MAJOR SPOILERS!

Wrinkles change in the ps3 version. Sure it's minor, but I wanted to clarify this is what we mean.

Is this a joke?Amazon just shipped my pre-order. I think it's pretty scummy we didn't get word on this shadows issue sooner so I would have time to cancel it.

Sigh.
Looks like it'll be 30fps for me. Pixelated shadows drive me nuts. Can't stand that shit in Destiny.
Oh well. 30fps is still nearly double the PS3 frame rate. =P

Again, in the other video the wrinkles very clearly shift and move in the PS4 version.
Why did they let it through on the PS3 version you mean?

you should try out the 60 FPS mode first. You will probably not even notice the shadows.
Is there a YouTube video of exploring with the torch? I don't remember it being like that on PS3 - felt more like you only had the normal hard ring of torch light, and nothing beyond. I could be completely remembering it wrong

I'll definitely notice.
Next you'll try to tell me that Destiny doesn't have rampant aliasing. Ha.
Whoa! Why did they take this out. The shifting wrinkles have been in all their games since Uncharted. What happened now? I don't wanna be a hater, but there's clearly some notable stuff missing. The Flash Light thing although really horrible definitely seems like a glitch., but the missing animated wrinkles seem like a deliberate decision to remove. It's not like I'm gonna cancel, but some of these things need to be addressed.
If I had to guess, probably because they're using cutscene models.
If they just didn't notice it, it's possible we'll get it through a patch, but if they did, chances are they tested both and ended up deciding that the better models make a bigger difference than the old ones with wrinkling.
It's a shame, but I'll trust their decision.
It's mostly off because the effect is too resource intensive on the ps3. But it does happen in certain areas.
That's fairly obvious. But this on PS4 is unacceptable. If they increased the resolution or the image, textures, shadows, they could have increased the resolution of the shadow bounces. After all, it's just another number. Why did they let it through on the PS3 version you mean?

If this is indeed why, then i would take the cutscene models over the cloth wrinkles no questions asked. But hopefully they implement something to the models that enable it so we get the complete package. If I had to guess, probably because they're using cutscene models.

I heard a rumor that if this thread gets to 50 pages, ND might put the wrinkle animations back in
