To thank CAPCOM and SCEA I added SFAC to my PS2 collection (already bought MMAC)

"So... talking out your ass it is. Figures. "

See I know you are not too bright but damn....OK, OK I'll repeat it one more time just for you. Hopefully you'll get it this time. There's a difference between stating something as a fact and deduction. I mentioned my statement wasn't to be taken as a fact, but on the other hand people with a little bit of common sense would think that would be the case due to the complete lack of adult games on the market. So easy there kid, go get some common sense and little bit of intelligence.

"I listed all the confirmed blocks (all of DreamCatcher's US games also, SCEA revoked their PS2 license even over some dispute) but there's plenty more rumored (Gregory Horror Show, Bomberman Jetters, Puyo Pop, etc)... by extension, could I get of a list of forced SCEA bundles? Even a few of them, confirmed?"

That's hilarious. Few confirmed games and plenty of rumored (read: BS) is your answer to *tons of canned games*? Maybe you need to look up the word *tons.* As for wanting a list of forced bundle? Sorry kid but I'd never claimed so and so bundle was forced by SCEA. Try again.

All I see here is double standards. When I make the claim SCEA blocked Metal Slug 3, I'm expected to bring something concrete... and yet you deduct that Nintendo/Microsoft are guilty of the same tactics, based on nothing but your own biased inclinations. And I'm the one lacking common sense and intelligence?

Again... Talking. Ass. Figures.

So you're saying SCEA can't be creditied with any bundles, am I correct? Pana was wrong, SFAC is simply Capcom USA's doing alone, a goodwill gesture for their fanbase?

Regardless of what position you're taking, the fact remains that's what the discussion was in this thread. Seems to me you're doing nothing in this thread becides criticizing one side of the discussion without supporting any position actually. Are you simply here as a nuisance purposefully? Demanding proof for a debate you won't partake in?

I did enjoy your objection to and focus on the word "tons" however. Keep up the insightful criticism! :)

Jarrod, I do not remember when you posted it, but there was a SPONG interview with an SNK guy saying how they went back and forth with SCEA making bundles where they could and in one case not bothering rbigning the game over as they could not make a bundle.

So, either we dismiss this proof which helps both of our cases or we accept it.

The KOF 2001/2002 bundle was SNK's incentive... Riskbreaker posted Herman's comments on that. We could assume SCEA had a hand in the following bundles, but we have no concrete statements leading that way... and if we're applying assumptions one way... ;)

Are you stupid? Tell me where are the adult games? Are you telling me that the adult industry don't want to sell games on these systems? Don't be stupid.

"Again... Talking. Ass. Figures."

Again, you still haven't provided your list of *tons of canned games.* Either put up or shut up. Show us these *tons* of games and prove them with sources. Talk about talking out of your ass. Yeesh! All these side trackings are not going to help your list of *tons of canned games*

"So you're saying SCEA can't be creditied with any bundles, am I correct? Pana was wrong, SFAC is simply Capcom USA's doing alone, a goodwill gesture for their fanbase?"

Look, I don't care if SCEA did or did not force the bundle, I've never claimed either way. My point was that you will never going to come up with list of confirmed *tons of canned games* and I am still right. So again, put up or shut up. No need to continue to side step the issue.

"I did enjoy your objection to and focus on the word "tons" however. Keep up the insightful criticism! "

LOL. I know you are regretting talking out of your ass. Too bad you didn't think about that before you post. Yes the key word here is *tons*. You know "tons* as in a great quantity, or A large extent, amount, or number, or to a great degree or extent or frequently. Courtesy of Dictionary.com and Webster.com just in case you want a source. :D

Hey, you could've ended it yourself by proving the bundles/budget releases were a result of SCEA approval process "with specific references to the people/sites that confirmed it."

:D

:rolleyes
I'm not speaking for Jarrod, but that's still a hefty list of canned games he posted. Even if his shown efforts haven't lived up to your expectations of "tons" its still a stronger argument than the other shit you've thrown out.

Edit: Buddy, where's the Jungle Beat argument? Any fools that don't think that game kicks ass deserve the one two punch of the monkey himself.

Hey man, I've never claimed it was SCEA who was solely responsible for bundles. :D Anyway, how would that end the tons of canned games debate ;)

Actually you just did. So now 3 or 4 games is a hefty list? :rolleyes :rolleyes :rolleyes Tons must mean more than one or something.

Panajev was the one who started the word tons, and Jarrod still provided a bunch of games. Okay, 3, 4 whatever. He provided games that have been stricken by this situation.
Your argument is what? Porn games haven't come from Japan, so Nintendo is blocking them? Or that developers want porn games, but Nintendo/Microsoft are blocking them from being released?

The games jarrod provided, as he stated, have only been rumored to be canned. He listed Puyo Pop which wasn't released on the PS2 in the US, and it also wasn't released on the Xbox in the US. So did MS cancel their version of the game too? It seems more like Sega took a very obscure title and put it on the system they thought it'd sell best on. Alot of the games Sony has "canned" have never been confirmed that they actually canned. Someone once said that they canned ToD2 for the US, but we learned later that NAMCO never even bothered to try to bring it over because how the previous games had performed.

I'm not stupid, it's easy to recognize the double standard here. I'm expected to bring evidence while you aren't. Simple.

While it's amusing that the entirety of your criticism rests on the definition of a quantitiaive word (ignoring the fact that yes, a few SCEA blocks are entirely confirmable despite the general of fear of reprisal in the development community), unless you plan on bringing anything relevant to this debate, how about leaving it? Troll.

Nope, the first list was only confirmed blocks (MS3, SVC, Mystical Ninja, etc)... I listed Puyo as an example of a rumored block later on. And Puyo was initially announced for XBox also, unlike the PS2 version.

Just because a few rumored blocks came out false (or one actually), we shouldn't assume all rumored blocks are however... where there's smoke, there's usually fire....

Again showing little reason, direction or evenhandedness in SCEA's product approval process.

Genius, I think I've mentioned this 3 times already. That comes from a simple deduction from a complete lack of adult games on these systems here. Don't tell me you need to look up the word *deduction* too?

Heh, amazingly still no list of games. I'll just quote myself, it's alot easier:

" Yes Sony has rejected games but not to the extend of what you're bitching about"

See that *not to the extend* thing in the middle?

And please man, don't even talk about double standard. You're among the best there is when it comes to it.

OK, OK. I'm a nice guy so let's just end this. No need to go on. Tell you what. Let's pretend *tons* is actually *more than one.* So that way, you have proved your case beyond a doubt. There's you go, you provided us with more than one canned game. Good job! The end! Everyone's happy :D

You can repeat flimsy [il]logic as much as you like, still doesn't negate the fact that you're expecting a greater burden of proof from others than you're willing to extend yourself. Hypocrite.

Wrong, I've provided a list several times.

The word you're looking for extent. Intelligence and all that.

I'll need quotes and links to back up that claim thanks. :p

So by saying pretend are you implying *tons* isn't actually *more than one*? Can I get an exact amount of what eaxctly qualifies as *tons* please? Can I get a meanigful counter argument please?

OK, OK, you are the genius here. I'm sure Sony/MS/Nintendo wanted porn games on they're systems, and the porn companies also wanted porn games on these systems. However there's this magical mysterious force is preventing this from happening. only the great Jarrod knows the answer to this.

"Wrong, I've provided a list several times."

LOL, you definitely did. You provided a list of more than one game. So I really don't know why you're still arguing here.

"So by saying pretend are you implying *tons* isn't actually *more than one*?"

Holy shit, how did you figure that one out? While you're at it, you still haven't figure out that you never will be providing that list of *TONS* of canned games.

So again let's pretend you've prove beyond a doubt that there's more than one canned game. No need for furthur postings. I'm happy with your proof :D and why are you still arguing?

Heh, forgot about that one. Confirmed by an Agetec rep on their message board I believe. So for confirmed games so far...

-Metal Slug 3 (SNK NeoGeo)
-Mystical Ninja (Working Designs)
-Shadow Tower Abyss (Agetec)
-SVC Chaos: SNK Vs Capcom (SNK NeoGeo)
-Ys Eternal Story I&II (NEC Interchannel)
-DreamCatcher/Adventure Company's Entire Library (8 games so far iirc)

I'm just asking for some evenhandedness in standards here... no wonder you're so quick to defend SCEA product approval, you work the same way.

Again, what's the exact number for qualification as *TONS*? Maybe we should ask Pana?
