The core mechanics of the game are busted. great story won't save it.they must fix space travel
They're getting their shit together by just expanding what they have. Which is okay. Not what I want personally but okay.Look, it's a wait and see thing; but I believe this over Bethesda getting its shit together and starting to release games at a faster pace.
Yep. In the video he compared the scope to Far Harbor and the content takes place in a handcrafted play space, which contains various locations and a city.I saw on Twitter he apparently said shattered space dlc takes place entirely in hand crafted locations, which sounds great to me. The actual handcrafted places in the base game were cool.
Is that a threat or a promise.
You mean remake it basically? If they mimic what they do with Fallout 76 the game will be good at some point.
Oh my god yes, both of them will be very happyNice. Good news for Starfield fans.
They intend to spend same amount of time on this as well. You mean remake it basically?
My main complaints were inventory management still from the year 2000 and the lifeless npcs.

Totally and completely proven false by Fallout 76 this year. They just kept quietly adding content for years and it's just now taking off. This DLC and the up coming updates are the last chance for Starfield to make a significant impact with gamers IMO. I enjoyed the game with all it's faults but Shattered Space needs to deliver a strong narrative and other improvements to convince the masses.

Yeah this is great, I thought they would drop it once Shattered Space is released tbh. Creation kit is bringing in new stuff too now.Nice. Good news for Starfield fans.
There's practically limitless opportunity to expand into cool areas or lore. I'm definitely looking forward to getting some answers on the Va'Ruun finally.I was very disappointed with starfield but the expansion didn't even look like main game at all. So if they can truly up the game like that every year I say go for it.
I actually want it to be even more sterile. Like Andromeda Strain sterile. We have lots of Cyberpunk stuff already. I'd like stuff where you can use all the data you scan for scientific advancements, or a datalog of some kind. Expand on some of the abandoned NASA stuff. Starfield is the only outlet for that optimistic Star Trek Next Gen / Carl Sagan / NASA stuff. Explore a black hole or something where science is not yet caught up.I just need a bit more edge to the game. It's too sterile. It needs building on.
The real hurdle is the tech. They gotta either overhaul Creation or build their tech over another foundation. They're getting their shit together by just expanding what they have. Which is okay. Not what I want personally but okay.
