I've seen PS channels that seem to have the same type of access as the MS channels (invited to game preview events, some free merch, etc.).

There's so many shills for xbox. The funniest think is they barely seem to actually play on their xbox. People have checked their achievements and they barely earn any for the games they shill for. They're just paid by Microsoft to promote the xbox brand on social media platforms. You can tell its artificial. They're not real fans.

Sadly I was told by Ybarra while he was at Xbox that most of the higher ups at Xbox had interns grinding gamer scores to make them appear to be gamers more than they actually were
 
Having as the axis of Xbox marketing characters like Warren, Jez, Colt, etc... on the networks while Greenberg and Spencer applaud them is one of the reasons that the brand is sinking more and more, they only serve to create a community toxic and today's comment proves it.

I mean that's not remotely surprising, when Phil Spencer released his stats earlier this month it was obvious it couldn't be accurate because he averaged nearly 3 hours a day of gaming which given the hours executives work doesn't seem feasible unless he never spends any time with his family 🤨

he wasn't just stating a fact but instead using it to dismiss criticism of his obnoxious behavior, he's a senior editor for a major outlet and he's console warring, this is a pattern of behavior for him not something you should treat like it's just a one-off

I have said this before so its nothing new but have gamed with Phil a few times and maybe its just not his genre but he was really bad at shooters like very non gamer bad but Ybarra was always damn good at most games he played no matter the genre

One thing that kind of stuck with me what Ybarra once said while him and Phil both were at a charity stream Ybarra said in Discord notice you can't see Phils hands on the controller while he was playing

I asked if it was like handing your 2 year old an unplugged controller to let him press buttons while you actually played and he just gave a smiley emoji
