One of the most mismanaged videogame IPs ever and one of my favorites.

This could've been so much more. TR was a cultural phenomenon in the 90's. But it pretty much fell off during the turn of the millenium. Lara Croft was one of the most popular gaming characters around.

AoD tanked on PS2 and the series went AWOL. Legend was a fun small game and a decent comeback, but they fucked up again, cut Underworld short and laid everyone off. The reboot showed promise, but the sequels kinda went nowhere.

Their mistake was copying uncharted which was already just a copy of tomb raider but with a hollywood presentation
