You're probably right but after watching Dimension W, I am more okay with this.

I easily enjoy W's more colorful and varied-size cast more at the moment. I don't expect that to stay that way...

This is where it starts getting better. Everything until now has been set up for the current arc.

I'm not too bothered about it as a whole show thing so far. But I enjoy Dimension W more right now. Even if it's less coherent, it's more fresh compared to the rest of the obviously shonen stuff.
