I think it's implied that Ginyu may have psychic powers as well, since Goku couldn't move during his first swap.

The voice acting seems "off". I am a guy who enjoys Dubs over Subs (poor eyesight is the general reason) but yeeaah coming off of KLK makes it worse. Even things with awful plots and dialog like SAO have rather competent dubs
