Pretty much as good as it was going to get, his Japanese voice wouldn't translate well at all

I know some people complain about Franky's dub voice, but here's the thing, Kazuki Yao's voice would sound horrible in English. All nasally and high-pitched, it would be weird.

Yeah, sometimes the pitch/tone in one language doesn't work in another language. I think it'll take me another episode or two of hearing it, but for the most part, I'm fine with it.
