Anyway, I remember this being one of the weaker episodes of the show and I was right. It still has plenty of good attributes though and is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the rest of the shows so far this night and coming up.

Yeah, I'd consider that like a low-to-mid-tier Champloo episode. Though everything involving Jin in this episode is great.
