It's up-and-down. Sometimes the action scenes and battle choreography are actually pretty decent, and sometimes the show legitimately looks great, stylized characters notwithstanding.

It does occasionally falter with clumsy moral messages, and there's always the budget-saving JarJar/Padme/droid episodes. Also, the villains are often laughable in their corny evilness.
