Unfortunately, with severe COPD, even if he makes a recovery, he's not going to be in a condition to return to voice acting any time soon, and likely never again.if Chris ever gets back to good health they can always redub the lines he missed
Yugioh is technically inspired by Jojo though.
I was going to post this weeks ago but opted not to.Did someone say YuGiOh?
Yup it's pretty clear.Yugioh is technically inspired by Jojo though.
Yeah it combines parts of a very specific stand fight from part 3 with character designs based off of a certain part 4 character.Yup it's pretty clear.
So I watched the entirety of the first season of Stranger Things yesterday, not knowing that the second season will be coming out this October. I ended up really enjoying it. I'm surprised to see online that fans were hostile to Lucas though. I dunno, I was 100% on his side during that fight with Mike.
Nah the stranger thing of Stranger Things was the undying love of Barb.

I can kind of see why. A lot of nerdy girls could relate.
There are a few jojo references sprinkled throughout the game. The Arcana Force for The World can skip turns.Yeah it combines parts of a very specific stand fight from part 3 with character designs based off of a certain part 4 character.
Oh goodie the super thread is getting salty again
Nope spoilers from Japan for dragon ball superWhat happened now? Did Goku leave his wife for Frieza?
Nope spoilers from Japan for dragon ball superpeople are whining about the u6 saiyans specifically the female ones being relevant and their faves being pushed into the background
And that's fineMy issue is more so that one of the Saiyans is a homage to Broly.
Honestly, Dragon Ball is not worth any extended attention or consideration.
This sounds awesome.Nope spoilers from Japan for dragon ball superpeople are whining about the u6 saiyans specifically the female ones being relevant and their faves being pushed into the background
This sounds awesome.
Dragon Ball is. The rest of the series less so.Honestly, Dragon Ball is not worth any extended attention or consideration.
The funniest thing to me about the DBS discussion topic, is that for all people say they want the show to be about more than power levels... they bring everything back down to it.
Even watching these early episodes of Super via Toonami hasn't been a waste. Our main arcs both subtly spit in the face of straight power levels, and are tagging things more onto energy control, stamina, teamwork, determination, self-sacrifice... they're seeding ideals that will set the foundation for the more original arcs.
Super really seems like it has fun with the challenge of proving things like why Master Roshi could still be called such, among a universe of much stronger beings, or how even Krillin can teach Goku a litany of lessons, even though Goku is stronger. I rather like how it seems to have a whole world / universal / extra-dimensional view of things, rather than acting like the entirety of existance revolves around what Goku does in Goku time when Goku speaks to Goku about what Goku did today, in the Gokua quadrant. They seem intent on expanding what fits into the DB body of works.
...So why does every after-episode conversation still bold down to "I can't believe that character is as strong as Goku's SSJB!"? *shrug*

The power scaling went out the window the moment Roshi came back as a relevant fighter with the revival of f arc.
Power levels are serious business.
Dragon Ball Z was extremely formative to a lot of people.
Because that's all DBZ was about
The power scaling went out the window the moment Roshi came back as a relevant fighter with the revival of f arc.
Nothing is more bullshit thanI'm glad Jump series that followed didn't rely solely on punches and beams as powers
Devil Fruits, Stands, Nen, Quirks, allowing for more versatile techniques and less "power level" horseshit.
Except Gold Experience Requiem, that's too bullshit
The power scale went out the window when Goku drank magic water and was magically stronger than Tao Pai Pai
What does it even mean to become "stronger" in the DBZ universe?
What actually changes about the characters that indicate they're more powerful aside from their hair color or a different form?
What makes one character's beam more powerful than another's?
