They haven't shown it in DBZ but we saw it in the original Dragonball. The one cat is just always on Dr. Briefs' shoulder.

I like a lot of Super's humor. Although for some reason the Shenron thing I'm iffy on.

I think it's a good thing, tbh. Z tries to take itself super seriously even if the Dragonballs do eliminate a lot of tension, while even Super's most serious moments are still pretty light-hearted.
