In the first anime, they added another exam here. Everyone is stranded on an island with no information, and they have to work together to figure out that there's a big storm coming and to get a ship working to escape. It was good for developing side characters.

It was nice to see him flustered a bit. Made him seem more human, and seemed appropriate for his age and circumtances. The relationship between Orga and Mika is one of the most interesting parts of the show, imo.
