No. Also, we don't talk about that story. Ever.
Like how we don't talk about how Professor X maybe wanted to bang Jean?
I feel like knowing very little about the Xmen comics is the best way to enjoy them.
Nah next up is Berserk Babies. Imagine Muppet Babbies but way more fucked up.
When the Clone Saga is remember more fondly than... that story, then you know you fucked up.
It really does feel at times that there's too many hacks in comic books. At least with the big corporate books. Creator-owned stories enjoy the freedom manga writers get.
There's a fair amount of freedom these days, except when it comes to Spider-man. He's not allowed to even look at Mary Jane, let alone be in the same room with her alone, at this point.
I'm scared to ask, but what did Spidey do to Mary Jane?

Even getting literally married doesn't stop Peter from having to deal with shallow romance drama bullshit.
He lives an awful life.
Oh, really? Nice.I mean, there's an alternate universe book where he's married and has a kid. It's pretty awesome.
Oh, really? Nice.

*Includes filler moment*
I don't think so.
Was it the drivers license episode? Because that's a fine addition to any top ten list.
Goku in Hell.
Which somehow triumphs over Vegeta's redemption.

How did they not include Goku and Piccolo driving cars?

Radioactive Sperm
Wall of heroes hitting their wives (For context AFAIK all these have a good reason for it to happen but no context is funnier)It's called the hero can't have a stable relationship...unless you're superman

Doesn't stop people from trying bang sue storm but it's them and Luke Cage and Jessica they may go through hard times and breaks but they are the only ones allowed to stay togetherModern Reed is tons better than silver-age Reed. He's got like the one stable relationship in comics and no one can mess with it because Reed, Sue, and all the kids are off exploring the multiverse where no writer can touch them.
Didn't Dark Age Reed Richards tend to become a psycho because of how weird Silver Age Reed was? Especially in alternate universes.
Glad to hear he's gotten better.

So should everybodyTo be honest, I'm not sure if I could really get into DC or Marvel now, given their inconsistent quality. Alternate universes and self-contained runs might be better, but still.
More interested in more independent stuff, like Hellboy.
Was more talking about pre-secret warsActually it has because she's no longer available to appear in any books. Editorial literally took them off the table after Secret Wars until someone could come up with a story worthy of bringing them back.
I haven't gotten around to reading it (though I should), but I really like Mike Mignola's art.So should everybody
Was more talking about books outside of Big Two but yeah you should if you are you probably need to post a suggestion in the comics thread and wait for the biggest Mignola fanboy on the thread to reply and give suggestionsI haven't gotten around to reading it (though I should), but I really like Mike Mignola's art.
I learned early on to just follow creators and nothing elseit all depends who's writing it, these comics usually don't have the advantage of being written by one person so there can be a lot of inconsistencies in quality and whatnot

Is this still the Toonami thread?
