Naruto has an uncanny ability to kill tension with bad pacing. It's almost an artform, really.

With better pacing, the Pain arc could've been fantastic, but as it is now I think it is just good/great at parts.

The manga had atypically fantastic pacing this arc, but Pierrot doesn't give a shit.

...like that moment! That was infinitely more hype in the manga!

everything else is the same. To the point where it makes no difference if you choose a male or female at all. Storywise or otherwise.

There's a lot of stuff Prey does really well, and if you like immerse sims, it's an amazing experience.

I like how Pain is mostly unstoppable, and his plan is mostly working, but I don't find him particularly threatening as a villain.

He's too detached from everything to feel like a strong villain.
