I feel like Scaramouche getting to Aku with this info before Jack had his sword is the most tension we've had in this show and then they ruined it by having Jack immediately get his sword.

It would have been so much more clutch for Jack to have done the meditation -> sword get in the middle of his final battle with Aku. A little cliched sure but also hype as hell if done right.

As it is I was scared for all of 10 minutes that Aku would find out Jack has no sword before Jack got his sword.
