I don't know how you guys can call the dub bad because of the cheesy accents. This show is super over the top cheese. These accents are perfect for it.

I never felt the whiplash from brotherhood, tons of series do comedy right after serious moments, even berserk does this sometimes.

it's mostly the first 20 or so episodes, where i'm pretty sure they used the comedy primarily to differentiate Brotherhood's scenes from the 03 versino.
