I'm not sure I want to put myself through Thundercats. The knowledge that it goes downhill after the first episode kills whatever drive I have to watch.

Then again, he's said a Samurai Jack movie has been in the works for years and we haven't heard much about it.

You are in for a ton of disappointment then.

I am glad a ton of you enjoyed SBT. It only gets better from the first episode. The biggest crime is it really gets going and then just stops due the cancellation.

Its not as bad as Bleach* or Samurai 7, but that's damning with faint praise.

*I go back and forth on whether Bleach is worth it entirely because of its awesome openings.

I always assumed that the "original Thundercats" and the origin story and all that was referring to the actual original Thundercats cartoon, but I never actually watched it so I have no idea at all.

Also they're totally on one of Jupiter's moons or something right? Maybe?
