One day sale of Nightreign is enough to put it in no.10 (May-30)

Thought about making a thread about it, but this is touching on the point I wanted to make.
Did you guys notice how they mentioned Steam Metrics several times in the presentation? We do it all the time on GAF, but I increasingly see it on YT & Twitter where concurrent/launch numbers are touted to dunk on or praise a game.

It's the new normal.

schedule one developer must be wiping his ass with dollar bills at this point
I think R.E.P.O was made by a three man team, they too can buy golden toilets and scrub their tagnuts with dollar bills.

Because Steam is more or less the defacto gaming platform now, and as more gamers switch from consoles to Steam, with the numbers being open on Steamdb unlike on consoles, the more attention it will gather.

Nightreign is awesome. It's exactly something new enough and not trying to copy the last big thing like we see all the time.

Units is pretty deceptive when you're 10 dollars. I think Wilds is the only full priced game on that list...
It's not clear from the picture, but Valve counts gross income for a game, not the number of copies sold and it includes DLC, Steam Market sales & trading cards.
R.E.P.O & Shedule 1 sold crazy amounts of copies and both have 1.8M+ user reviews, while Wilds got almost 220k.

It's a tough pill to swallow, but those games earned money than most AAA games with cold pizza and soda budgets.
