I'm afraid it's lacking, at least from what I've played of the demo. The game interprets vague gestures for slices and topspins rather than mapping your movements in a 1:1 fasion (as in Sports Champions' Table Tennis). It's like playing a tennis game on the Wii with Motion+. Not bad, but it should have been far more intuitive
