Tosh.0, it's like The Soup, but for the internet!

It's youtube people, you REALLY don't need commentary over a video of a fat lady falling off a table.

Watch Sunny instead

Only about a 1/3rd or 1/4th of each episode is actually watching Youtube clips.

Wrong... And what does It's Always Sunny have to do with this?

Season 1 was great. Is it Racist? and the salvia challenge had me rolling.

This is actually good? I've only ever seen commercials, but they look painfully unfunny.
Yeah, it's actually pretty funny.

Has anyone seen Web Soup the G4 version of this? I haven't bothered to watch it, one "The Soup for internet videos" show is enough for me.

Web Soup is infinitely better, and a much truer spin-off of the original (perhaps because it is endorsed by it). Chris Hardwick is a good host and, amongst other things, used to go on before McHale when he does stand-up.

Tosh.0 has its moments, but it's very hit or miss and the pacing often feels strange to me.

I find this to be damn near on par with the Soup...actually, I'd like to see E pick this up and put it on right after the Soup, that would be a gooooood hour of tv.

Tron guy...I loved it, that was great. I like Tosh's general comedic style...he's a sarcastic twit like me.

I'm kind of amazed this hasn't been canceled yet.

Which is to make no implication about the host's ability to tell a funny joke. It's just a really lame concept for a TV show.

You can tell how incredibly low budget this thing is at the end when they show the set is just a green screen, Tosh, and the audience.

I really enjoyed the show, are there only 10 episodes (watched them all On Demand)?

The second season started last night, 5 more episodes coming up at least.

I enjoy the show, because Tosh, joking or not, sums up my feelings towards most of the people in the videos perfectly.

yeah the audience is like 5 rows deep and the set is super small

yeah this is really an updated Soup. Really good show. I think his stand-up is hilarious - I was amazed that he could work a Shintoism joke into his routine (and not be racist about it).

Yes, this. If you are 'fat', he calls you fat, if you appear dumb, he calls you dumb...his mocking that stupid kid he had on as a guest last night was great, just all tongue in cheek comments basically calling him a flash in the pan loser...

Right now Tosh is averaging more ratings then Stuart and Colbert!

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Who's the most popular host on Comedy Central?

It's not Jon Stewart. And, no, it's not Stephen Colbert.

Daniel Tosh has surpassed both in the ratings to have the most-watched and top-rated studio-based show on the cable network. His series, "Tosh.0," hit another series high Wednesday -- the network's best performance in that time period since "Chappelle's Show" in 2004.

"Tosh.0"? Try "Tosh" 2.4 million viewers.

A bit like a "Talk Soup" for the Internet, "Tosh.0" chronicles all that's newsworthy, weird and lewd about the Internet, with Tosh introducing video clips and occasionally interviewing guests in his "Web Redemptions" segment.

Since the comedian's summer season premiered June 2, five of the show's six episodes have marked a new series high.

"It's a show that came in under the radar and it's a truly word-of-mouth kind of show," said Kent Alterman, head of original programing at Comedy Central. "He hasn't been written about that much. There's really just one factor that stands out -- the show is really funny."

"Tosh" is averaging 2.2 million viewers this season vs. 2 million for "The Daily Show" and 1.4 million for "Colbert Report." Overall, it is the third most-popular show on the network (behind "South Park" and "Futurama").

Wow! No way, that's pretty amazing. I love the show, some of the clips are incredibly old but he still does a great job with everything. I don't know if the show would work with anyone else.

I think it's a bit tough to compare a show that's on 4 days a week and compare their average daily viewer numbers with a show that's on once a week where everyone would have an easier time devoting the 30 minutes a week to catch it.

That being said, I love all 3 shows, and Tosh is a master shit talker which is why he works so well for this show. His stand up is similar in shot talkiness.

I'm very happy the show is doing well. During season 1 he kept tweeting that the show was close to cancellation and was basically begging people to get their friends to watch. Glad CC stuck by it long enough to get a solid audience.

Is it racist?
Freaking hilarious.

His commentary on the girl who chokes on a cupcake made me bust out laughing. "Shake that bear!" :lol :lol

The show is usually hilarious, with some lame ones that pass through every now and then.

Well make sure to watch tonight. The WOW-remote into ass kid was mentioned, hoping for a web redemption.

I've always ignored the show because everything about it, including the host, gave off a vibe of shit quality, but I had no idea the show was so popular, especially here. It just looks so awful.

IMO, he's one of the worst hosts I've ever seen. He seems really awkward up there... can't really put my finger on it but there's something about him that seems "forced".

Also, the show would be a lot more enjoyable if they spent more time on actual youtube clips and less on their special segments (web redemption are particularly stupid and take up half the show).

I love this show. The guy is pretty hilarious. It's one of the few shows that actually makes me 'lol' rather than just think to myself "yeah...that was funny."

It's his random comments that just come out of nowhere that always get me.

Hm I seem to be in the minority here. I hate the show. The guy is awkward infront of the camera and has terrible delivery. Certainly a poor man's McHale.

most everyone prefers the opposite.

While watching Tosh I'm fully very much aware I'm watching a scripted show. It looks like he's constantly thinking about his next line. Joe's delivery is much more natural and fluid.

Love this show. Tosh is hilarious and the Web Redemption is probably one of the best things ever thought of. You always wonder what people were thinking when they were doing those videos. Can't wait to see the WoW freak out kid's web redemption.

My hobby is trolling him via twitter and then trolling him some more when my troll tweets are not featured on his shit show.

We already have Family Guy doing that.

i like the show, its really funny. it started out really dumb, but i think it developed into its own and i enjoy it whenever i see it on.

I hate the show too but seriously you do this? You need a fucking life...

I just started getting into this show a few weeks ago and I love it. I'm also a big fan of the soup. Anyway, I heard he has a web redemption for the WoW freakout kid tonight. Must watch.

Side note: I heard he actually used a clip of my friend once. This one. It was a joke but they aired it as if it was real.
