I loved the hood-rat kid's web redemption when the hood-rat kid said his favorite comic was 'the guy with the puppet', to which Tosh says, 'Jeff Dunham!?"

The expression on Tosh's face was priceless as he turns his face and exhales. :lol :lol

The best episode is the one with the girl fight. One girl chokes the other girl out and Tosh screams "Surprise! She's a submission fighter!"

HAHA! I love everything about Daniel Tosh. His stand-up, his show, everything. Shit is fucking hilarious. Definitely agree that this is the best thing on CC since The Chappelle Show (excluding South Park, which is always good)

Checked out a few clips of his stand-up, as well as the "rippin' and tearin'" clip, but it just doesn't do anything for me. =/ I think I'm just not a big fan of most stand-up comedy, though.

I didn't like it at first, but the show is pretty creative and they show a lot of videos I've never seen before. Plus the web redemptions are almost always interesting. One of my favorite bits in the show is when they are about to cut a commercial and Tosh says, "we'll be right back with more [insert horribly failed Comedy Central show here]."

I used to be a big hater of the show, but you gotta love how creative the show is. The bit with Tommy Lee and his drum kit made of tits for example. That had me laughing my ass off.

Hell, "The Dish" is funnier than "Web Soup!"

What the fuck?!?! When does this air? That guy seemed so batshit crazy, I've gotta see how he acts now.

fake edit: well I guess it's wednesday from the post above, fkn sweet.

Wow, that was amazing.

Did the kids actually hear him?

I'm here for the wild women, the wild women and the rippin and the tearin, the rippin and the tearin. :lol

Might be the funniest thing I've seen all year. I love it.

Caught a bit of the show the other day out of curiosity. The laugh track was so painfully fake and overdone that I couldn't stand to watch much. What I saw of his jokes weren't that funny, either.

It's not a laugh track. They consistently show the audience.

Show is filmed with a live audience.

Next week will be win hopefully. Tosh ripping on little girls seems funny already.

This show is consistently funny. I really dig his sadistic sense of humor, very much like my own.

Spirit of Truth was hilarious.

Well, apparently my girlfriend just got us into the taping next Wednesday.

wooooooo

I watched through his O.C. stand up and still loved it.

Tosh<.30

Thought the last two episodes were shit. Haven't watched this week's yet, but three strikes and you're officially off my "good show" list.

Well, then the audience sounded coached to react really strongly.

Or maybe they find him funny and enjoy laughing at his jokes? Possibly maybe you think yes?

lol, no shit eh.

i don't know why some people think that the audience of a comedy show isnt there for the comedy

who the fuck would go to a taping of tosh.0 if they didnt know who he was, and look forward to his comedic style/show/went there for a good time? maybe a few people, but the majority are there to enjoy themselves

Wow, people here can stomach "Web Soup?" And some even prefer it to Tosh.0.

This week, the Spirit of Truth preacher's web redemption will alone be greater than the summation of everything G4 has ever done on Web Soup.

Tosh is a decent comic. Tosh.0 is a decent next-gen AFHV.
Mchale & The Soup are still the current best although the original Talk Soup was even better (needs to go HD though).

pretty much nailed it.

Kinnear was the original right? that shit was so good. and Mchale is bringing back the funny to the OG clip show.

good stuff.

Yeah, add me as another one that is surprised people like Web Soup over Tosh.0. Web Soup just seems so amateurish in comparison. I like Daniel Tosh's style of comedy more (his standup is hilarious) and the segments they do on Tosh.0 are more interesting. Web Redemptions are usually better than entire episodes of Web Soup.

Holy shit the preacher was hilarious as hell. I loved the bible and the gay/lesbian bit. He's so damn smooth. :lol :lol

Also, Tosh is pretty damn talented. The flip was great, and I remember last season where he did the trick with the cups and then there's the jumping over chairs.

I think McHale & The Soup is garbage, too. Not as bad as Web Soup (which I've only been able to stomach once or twice, to be fair), but The Soup is just a bunch of bad jokes, often unrelated to the actual content of the show. I dunno, it's hard to explain without giving examples (and I have none), but it's just not good comedy to me. Doesn't touch enough truth, if you know what I mean by that.

Now I wish I had an example. Fuuuuuu.

Oh, and this week's Tosh was pretty solid. Preacher dude was awesome. He could be a star with the right agent I reckon.

been catching up on this show thanks to the magic dvr box. love it! i watch websoup too, but so far from what i've seen, tosh is 100x better.

I fucking hate this dude. His jokes are too on the nose and basically amount to, "Oh no he didn't!!!"
It doesn't help that his staccato delivery (yuk yuk) reminds me of Chelsea Handler in its desperation and lack of flow.
He's a less charming Joel McHale with a Family Guy sensibility for added yawns.
Plus the dude is so smug and self satisfied its like rubbing salt in an unfunny wound.

I'm not offended by other people enjoying Tosh, but they ARE fucking shitheads for enjoying bullshit.

I actually think Joel McHale is the smug one. Tosh is way more self-deprecating which makes him easier to like imo.

Hmmm.... Y'know, you have a point.
I think they both come across as overly pleased with themselves. Its pretty standard stand-up attitude. I guess I just just think that Tosh doesn't have a reason to feel that way. I guess he does make more self-deprecating jokes than McHale, but I don't BELIEVE him. He never managed to sell it to me. Which is more bothersome than just being smug for some reason I can't explain.
The best analogy is like when a skinny person makes jokes about how they are fat. If you don't believe they feel that way its really grating.

The few times I watched Tosh.0 it also struck me as needlessly mean and just as likely to say something awful about a normal person rather than a shitty d-list celebrity who has it coming.

He sort of reminds me of Dane Cook in a way as well... That doesn't help.

ANyway, I'll quit pissing on the parade.
