trader joes is massproduced junk food.

Just because it's organic doesn't mean it's good for you.
This is actually what I do to annoy the people who won't shut up about legalizing pot. When they fire off, "It's from the ground, it's fine", I offer to get them a glass of oil to drink. "Go on, it's safe. It's from the ground!"

How old is this glass of oil that you've been carrying around?

Hm. Don't know what you guys are buying - maybe allot of the trader joe unique snacks or meals - but I've had a good track record with their ingredients and misc. I usually buy eggs, bacon, juice, cold cuts, sometimes veggies (and potato chips/popcorn/ice cream sometimes!) - all been good for me. In particular I make trail mix to snack on allot and the whole bags of raw almonds, cashews, walnuts, and raisins are a godsend to me - Neat packaging in just the right amounts for me to store easily and obv. I can mix however I like. I like the place.

So im a swede, living in sweden. I have never visited trader joes. But youtube feeds me these videos on stores like trader joes. I have no idea why.

But anyway. Trader joes seems to be an upscale lidl or aldi like store. Just like lidl they more or less only have their own brands. And little to no produce, ie untampered meat and vegetables. Instead its 90% factory massproduced stuff. junk food. Only it says organic and fresh on the box. But its still junk food..
It’s literally an upscale “Aldi” they’re owned by the same company.

$5 for a pound of raw almonds/walnuts, $7 for a pound hazelnuts, peanut butter and almond butter cheaper than like everywhere else. $3.49 for larger container of organic yogurt, $4 for free range eggs. frozen berries aren't overpriced same with their greens. $5.60 something for a pound of extra lean ground beef. place is a really good deal for that stuff.
