So I looked and Flying Lotus is the rap name of some guy.

His previous film is KUSO......he's got vision, I'll give him that. Whether or not he can channel it into a coherent story remains to be seen.

Who is flying lotus and why should I care?

I can't take anyone who calls themselves flying lotus seriously.

If you’ve ever tuned into Adult Swim during it’s peak, Flying Lotus was one of the artists featured multiple times during their bumps.

He has also directed music video visuals that are very ‘out there’





There have been moments in the past where music video directors will finally reach TV or movie directing and do a pretty great job. I’m hoping this ends up as one of those moments.
